In the world of luxury household management, staying on top of the latest trends is essential. Discerning clients are accustomed to the finest of things in every facet of their lives, and that extends to their home too.



This means as a House Manager you must have a proactive approach to staying up to date with the latest trends and ensuring the service you provide aligns with the most current and exclusive offerings.


Preserved Flowers

One trend that we have recently seen a rise in was preserved flower bouquets. These are real flowers that undergo a special treatment to maintain their natural beauty for months, and sometimes even years.


The appeal of preserved flowers lies in their remarkable longevity and minimal maintenance. Unlike fresh blooms that wilt and require frequent replacements, preserved flowers demand no watering, trimming, or special care. 


This not only eliminates the ongoing costs associated with purchasing and maintaining fresh flowers but also frees up valuable staff time. Imagine stunning floral arrangements without the constant need for replacements.


Wellness spaces

As we saw in 2024, the rise in individuals looking after their wellbeing has skyrocketed, and that is no different in 2025. In fact, luxury homeowners are now more than ever prioritising their wellbeing through many different methods. Home owners are building dedicated wellness spaces within the home such as state-of-the-art gyms fitted with the latest equipment, yoga and mediation studios as well as saunas and plunge pools for athletes after an intense workout.


Be proactive and think about what kind of methods your client would prefer and discuss with them if they would like to implement any of them in their home. Make sure you’re staying informed about the latest wellness trends, fitness equipment or emerging wellness practices, and continue to proactively suggest these additions to your client.


Branded Furniture

In 2025, branded residences are becoming increasingly prevalent across the globe, meaning collaborations between developers and luxury brands are reshaping the expectations of the ultra-wealthy.


These discerning homeowners desire a lifestyle seamlessly integrated with their favourite luxury brands. They seek bespoke kitchens by renowned chefs, curated art collections from leading galleries, and even home theatres designed by Hollywood sound engineers. 


This "branded everything" approach extends beyond tangible goods. Residents expect access to a curated lifestyle, from private jet charters and yacht rentals to exclusive events and personalised concierge services.


Homes of the future

The homes of the future for the ultra-wealthy will not merely be houses; they will be designed to anticipate your clients every whim and deliver unparalleled experiences. Soon we will start to see more residences where artificial intelligence seamlessly integrates with every aspect of daily life. Advanced home automation systems will transcend basic control, evolving into sophisticated ecosystems that learn and adapt to individual preferences.


Appliances such as voice-activated assistants will become even more intuitive, proactively anticipating needs. Imagine a home that automatically prepares a revitalising morning routine with soothing music, optimal lighting, and a perfectly brewed cup of coffee. Security will also be paramount, with advanced surveillance systems integrated with AI and facial recognition technology to ensure the utmost safety and privacy.

Travelling Roles

The demand for staff who are ready and eager to travel with clients is definitely on the rise this year with many clients owning multiple properties around the world and requiring staff willing to travel with them.

We have an incredible opportunity available within a private residence in Mayfair, London, for an experienced individual to join the team as a Housekeeper with formal service experience.  This is a travelling role, where you would spend up to 8 weeks of the year overseas. General Information: Contract: Permanent Location: Mayfair, London Salary: Up to £50,000 a year D.O.E Living Arrangements: It is a live-out position, so candidates should already have accommodation in London or be able to easily secure some. General Requirements: This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is flexible, adaptable, and happy for their schedule to change throughout the year depending on where you are and what is occurring. Yachting background preferred, formal training in service Main Duties: The principals are only in residence in Mayfair for approximately 90 days of the year. During this time, you would be required to work 6 days per week. For the remainder of the year when in London, you would only be required to work 3 days per week. This graceful, character-filled family home is seeking an experienced Housekeeper and Gardener/Driver/Maintenance to help manage the smooth day-to-day running of the property. General Information: Job Title: Housekeeper & Gardener/Driver/Maintenance Contract: Permanent Location: Estate west of London Living Arrangements: Beautiful private cottage on-site provided to the successful couple Salary: Starting from €55,000 per year (tax-free) General Requirements: Experience in private households or super yachts. Confident and experience driving through London traffic. We are looking for candidates who remain flexible and adaptable with working hours and schedules as needed. Main Duties: The Gardener/All-Rounder must be comfortable driving the principals to London occasionally and working different shifts. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the home to a high standard and assisting with occasional service when the principals are entertaining. The couple will work as a team to ensure everything is always running properly and things like light lightbulbs are never out. General Information: Job Title: Head of Housekeeping Contract: Permanent, Full-time Location: Estate west of London Salary: Up to €35,000 plus bonus Living Arrangements: A charming two-bedroom cottage on-site is provided, fully equipped and ideal for someone with a partner. Partners are welcome to live on the estate at no additional cost. Our ideal candidate will have a background in private households or in the yachting industry. Main Duties: Lead the daily housekeeping operations across all properties within the estate. Set the tone and standard for assistant housekeepers and ad hoc staff. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and order, ensuring consistency throughout all residences. Learn and maintain the preferences of the principals and regular guests. Report any defects or maintenance issues clearly and promptly to the Property Manager. Manage housekeeping inventories and stock control. Oversee wardrobe management, including packing and unpacking. Provide formal table service in collaboration with the Chef during dining events. Ensure laundry and garment care are carried out to the highest standards. Welcome the principals and guests on arrival and ensure their comfort during stays. Support and liaise with the wider estate team as required.
